Client Manager

US-Based

We are looking for a dynamic Client Manager to support and manage specified client accounts within North America and deliver a best in class client experience, ensuring continued growth and maximize revenues.

Insurance telematics is an emerging industry where the ability to craft exquisite, digital, user-facing products creates a competitive advantage for our clients.


You will have end to end responsibility for managing ongoing Client relationships. You’ll have to perform a variety of duties including: client onboarding, relationship management, forecasting, product prioritization and strategic planning.  The Client Manager must understand, operate at all technical levels necessary. They must be able to understand and anticipate the clients needs related to The Floow products, program requirements, technical issues.

The prospective Individual must have the ability to understand the big picture and be able to understand and relate to all departments within an insurance company. (product, marketing, Insurance IT, engineering, executives, etc). They will be an advocate for the client, and their clients needs and requests. 

You will work closely with our leadership team and partner with  our Clients, trusted partners, Product, Project Delivery and Engineering teams to help us launch products that move the needle. 

Previous Client management experience required.  Having experience in some or all of the following areas preferred: mobile apps, insurance, UBI/telematics, user engagement, enterprise apps behavioral analytics, data science,  or backend technologies.

 

Accountabilities

 

  • Building a strong network of contacts / relationships within your client business AND internal stakeholders to ensure continuity of the account and maximize your impact.
  • In conjunction with the Client Development Director, support and execute on annual strategic and communications plans for your accounts ensuring clients needs are met and where possible exceeded.
  • Ensure revenue and service level targets associated with your key accounts are monitored and proactively  managed.
  • Support  for client requests and requirements which are fed back in a timely manner to the technical team to ensure that these are introduced into the product development process.
  • Proactively liaise  with Project Management to deliver on client development work.
  • Facilitate swift resolution of any client relationship issues and escalate to Client Development Director.
  • Manage ongoing customer support issues and identify and implement resolutions and process changes. 
  • Creation of client management information packs. 
  • Introducing third party expertise to the Clients if and when appropriate.
  • Within existing accounts, support the introduction of new products, to generate  new revenues and ensure continued growth.
  • Undertake as requested other activities that may be outside of your area of focus but contribute to the overall success of The Floow.

 

Job requirements

 

  • Experience of customer relationship building in the insurance or digital / technology industry.
  • An ability to build relationships, influence, challenge and engage well with all stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Familiarity with Google and Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Proactive and curious approach to identify and resolve issues
  • Experience in understanding and interpreting data and the ability to communicate back to clients with excellent attention to detail  
  • Proven ability to grow revenues within existing client relationships
  • Nice to have – project/program management experience in an agile environment, product owner or analyst experience
