Sales Manager

The Company:

The Floow is a rapidly growing telematics service provider that develops smartphone apps for insurers, to collect driving data and deliver services to insurers and their customers. We specialise in using data from smartphones and fixed to vehicle devices to support motor insurers pricing decisions. Data analysis is also used to provide driving feedback and educational tips to drivers across a range of factors including speed, hard braking and acceleration and distraction. The company currently works with major UK and global insurers, and has a number of other discussions on-going in new markets.

The Role:

To lead and manage business development activities to maximise revenues from the generation of new clients within a specific EMEA market.

Your Accountabilities:

Strategy and Leadership

  • Support the Sales Director in the development of the sales strategy ensuring alignment to the overall business plan and that regional requirements are represented
  • Build effective internal relationships that allow you to influence as required to ensure the best outcomes from a new business and longer term client relationship perspective
  • Proactively contribute to the positive culture of The Floow through your everyday behaviours


  • Deliver all revenue targets associated with the achievement of new client accounts within your geographical / vertical area through proactive sales strategies

Business Development

  • Create and maintain a clearly defined map of target organisations within your assigned market to reflect The Floow’s overall strategy and support the generation of warm leads in the right areas
  • Work with the Marketing team, support the development of a sales communication tactical plan to deliver MQL’s and SQL’s in to the new business funnel
  • Build an extensive network of relationships within target client organisations and track the status of the relationships through the effective use and maintenance of Salesforce.
  • Conduct face to face meetings with prospective client organisations to demonstrate our capabilities and inspire trust in our services to drive the sales process forwards, drawing in other members of the team as appropriate
  • Coordinate our response to relevant RFI and RFP’s within your target region ensuring that submissions are of a high quality and deadlines are met at all times
  • Build strong relationships with Client Development, Marketing and Technical teams to ensure the delivery of commitments


  • Undertake as requested other activities that may be outside of your area of focus but contribute to the overall success of The Floow
