It’s been six months since I joined The Floow and over that time, I have not only seen the company grow rapidly but witnessed the hard work put in by all in the run up to the launch of our latest product, FloowDrive, a white-label, quick to deploy telematics platform.
For half a year, I’ve spent my time on the road and at conferences across Europe seeing The Floow’s name spread amongst insurers, auto manufacturers and fleet companies, big and small, whilst having positive conversations about the future of mobility with telematics.
A few weeks ago, I attended the Insurance Innovators conference in London with our CEO and founder Aldo Monteforte, our CPO Andy Goldby, COO David James, and our MD Client Development, Claire Sargeant, for the European launch of FloowDrive.
Aldo and Andy presented on stage and demoed our new platform to a packed room of decision makers for insurers and OEM’s and interested parties.
For me, the event was a brilliant opportunity to not only see FloowDrive in action but to also see the reactions of potential clients and the market to this platform which can build a fully deployable telematics proposition in a matter of minutes rather than months.
These reactions, alongside the questions and comments we received at the event, allow me to see how this product will best suit the needs of our prospective clients. As I travel around Europe in the coming months to meet with decision makers, I will be looking forward to demo-ing FloowDrive and seeing how it can bring their telematics aspirations to life.
We believe this platform will positively impact the future of telematics by democratising the telematics market for everyone through the removal of cost and time barriers. We were mindful that we needed to do this without compromising on the quality of our products and this is why we collated our skills and expertise in data science, technology and design in order to create FloowDrive.
The option to customise the offering so that they can create a proposition bespoke to them, including their branding options and language localisation requirements, all for an affordable price will be a big benefit for many insurance companies.
For others, the speed to market of the platform will be the real breakthrough because our FloowDrive platform is the perfect stepping stone into telematics at a cost effective price point, making this a great solution for test and learn deployments.
