One of the UK’s leading names in telematics data capture and analytics was recognised at the Frost & Sullivan awards ceremony in London on Wednesday – named the winner of the coveted ‘UBI Customer Value Leadership’ award.
Formed just over two years ago The Floow, which now works on behalf of some of the world’s leading insurance firms, including Direct Line Group and AIG, received the accolade because of their commitment to finding ‘low-cost and bespoke solutions for capturing data on driver behaviour’.
The award saw The Floow judged on a series of strict criteria; from the organisations’ ability to demonstrate flexibility in adapting to meet the specific needs of each customer, to the efficiency of the service delivered and the sophistication of the technological process implemented.
Seeing off competition from organisations across Europe, The Floow were awarded an impressive nine out of ten from the Best Practice research team – reaching top marks in both the vision alignment and technological sophistication categories.
The Floow offers unique driver behaviour insight that enables insurers to reward and encourage safer, more economic driving.
Global consultancy firm Frost & Sullivan fed back that they were impressed by the sophistication of the bespoke apps offered to customers, offering a range of features including an automatic start / stop function and an algorithm that measures driver distraction.
Aldo Monteforte, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of The Floow, collected the award at the glittering event in London’s Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington Gardens. He said, “The Frost & Sullivan award recognises The Floow’s global lead when it comes to mastering telematics data as well as our uncompromised focus on ensuring and monitoring the success our clients achieve with our technology.
“I am incredibly proud and privileged to have been recognised in this category, and I would like to pay tribute to our unbeatable team of scientists, engineers and designers who combine talent, ingenuity and passion to make mobility safer and cheaper for all.”

“Their work ensures that they meet the needs of every client they work with, as well as giving the end user complete satisfaction.”
