17th February 2021

We’re pleased to present Release 9.1 which follows on from Release 9 (launched on 14th December 2020) and features further improvements, and the introduction of new capabilities, to our FloowDrive and FloowKit products.

Release 9.1 is a smaller release and it covers product work which has taken place from 1st November until 31st December 2020. The capabilities being introduced as part of this release are detailed below.

FloowDrive

Following on from the updates to permissions messaging included in Release 9, we have introduced further support for Android 11 users to help them correctly set up permissions for journey capture in the FloowDrive app.

Driver-Passenger Detection – Available on FloowKit and FloowDrive

The Driver-Passenger capabilities introduced in this release are designed to predict if a user is likely to have been the driver or the passenger on a recorded journey. Available on our FloowKit and FloowDrive solutions, this further helps to improve the user experience for app users by simplifying the journey tagging process.

Data Quality Assessment Service

Over the last 12 months, our Data Scientists have been working to understand the effects of poor data quality and how poor journey data can be improved. The introduction of our Data Quality Assessment Service is the culmination of the work completed so far, and it allows us to effectively assess overall journey data quality which enables us to further enhance our already powerful scoring algorithms as well as providing greater insights at an ever more granular level.
